300zx 7 #2 Posted July 14, 2010 Shoboxlover, the sender is above the oil filter in the block. It won't be easy to get to without pulling the engine and removing the rear tin. It has a 1/4 inch pipe fitting connected to an elbow into the block. That is the only place I know of that you can check the oil pressure. If it were me, I would pull the engine and bench run it. If you decide to do it, I can tell you how I have been running engines off of the tractor. Pettybilt 3 #3 Posted July 15, 2010 I just put an oil pressure gauge on a 416-8, i gotta tell you more work than i thought. Anyway heres a picture of the ftting on the engine. Its a street elbow.
