Well after years of playing around with cheap lawn tractors I finally took the plunge. 5 weeks ago my 5 year old Craftsman blew the motor. For Fathers day my wife told me I could buy a new tractor. I thought about it and decided to look for a older Wheel Horse. Through the years I've heard nothing but good from other owners. I found a 310-8 on Craigslist, Called the gentleman and went to look. It is in VERY good condition. I didn't even barter on the price, bought it on the spot.

Today while mowing the Belt broke. I was wondering if an automive belt would work. When I dissambled the Mule drive I noticed the inner pulley is a little worn. Are these still available from a dealer or should I look on E bay.

Other than this small problem I am very happy with this tractor. I will be looking for a Snow Plow and maybe some ground engaging implements.

You can find the Mule drives on Ebay or one of the guys on Red Square might be willing to sell. I Think you can still get them from the dealer, but they won't be cheap. I seen NOS Mule drive sell for 150.00 .As far as a belt you should be able to get one from ebay around $20.00 that is a toro belt.
