Pollack Pete 2,273 #1 Posted July 10, 2010 Just acquired a 1054.It's been sitting for years and the gas has turned to turpentine. The tank has to come off to be flushed out and cleaned.I tried to get the fender/seat pan off.No luck.It looks like it's welded to the frame. Is this correct? I got the two screws out that hold the tank straps in.Also,no luck. This has me stumped, plus the temp here has been high 90's and up and I'm losing my cool.literally.I need help.Anyone?????? Thanks in advance.
TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #2 Posted July 10, 2010 It's called a huge mistake on behalf of the engineering department. If you want to remove the gas tank you need to remove the transaxle first. :D
