DoctorHfuhruhurr 137 #1 Posted July 6, 2010 Does anyone have any experience with a Jacobson 26" Estate mower? I'm thinking about buying one not so much for using but just because it's a neat looking machine. Any comments on what a decent price range would for it would be greatly appreciated. It includes a sulky and bagger.

VinsRJ 721 #4 Posted July 7, 2010 If that's the unit pic'd above then it looks pretty clean
bustedglass 1 #5 Posted July 21, 2010 That unit looks like something the old man that lived down the street from us had. I remember his lawn always looked like a well groomed golf course . I always bugged my dad to get one. But, he said our push mower was fine. Easy for him to say, he wasnt the one doing the pushing - ouch .
Butch 194 #6 Posted July 21, 2010 If it's sharp you'll have one of the nicest putting greens around!! Butch S. Jersey
hcminis 1,557 #7 Posted July 21, 2010 WOW, I just bought one for $50.00 just like that. Restored the sulky and painted it red. Scrapped the mower except the motor. Everything was locked up except the motor and the neighbor has it running and on a Sears Suburban. I still have all the tires though. They are cool.

I think I missed out on it but it had been popping up from time to time and was becoming hard to resist at $75 and was said to be in running condition. I wasn't looking for a lower price I just got side tracked with other stuff. I'll rationalize it by saying it probably would have just collected dust in my basement after I tried it out a few times lol.
