rodco 0 #1 Posted June 25, 2010 I was plenty sick last week, but have recovered to make it to the show. I drove from Pittsburgh today via old route 30 (Lincoln Hwy). It took me 9 hours...200 miles. I stopped probably25 times to eat, stop in some stores, take photos etc. Great ride. I even spotted an old Wheelhorse on the side of the road for sale. I didn't bring my c-161, because I am not to trusting on the welded wheel spindle. I am heading to the event to see what parts I can find (hopefully a spindle). I am staying at the North ridge Motel on rt 15 in Gettysburg. It is the sister Motel of the Blue sky. What a dump. Hollow core doors, cheap locks, dirty furniture, lumpy mattress and lots of loud trashy occupants (monthly renters). I would not suggest it for a family, but for a single person its fine.. and cheap (about $100 for 2 nights). Hope to see you at the show. Just look for the guy with arm fulls of parts.
