Cessna 1 #1 Posted June 5, 2010 I have an '83 1142 Work Horse GT. Lately when I run the motor at a slower speed the drive belt (on the right side) makes like a slapping sound. Is there an idler pulley there that should put tension on the belt? Or is the belt stretching making the sound? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
