Well first off welcome to Red Square :D

Second off it kind of depends on the year. Have you checked the trans level and could you tell if the fluid was red fluid or if it looked like oil. Red fluid would mean power steering fluid and if its oil then I would suggest 10w-30. I would also suggest changing the filter while you are doing this. Good Luck See Ya, Bye Burly :USA:

If I remember correctly I am guessing four quarts and guessing by the year it probably has Type A trans fluid in it. Type A is pretty hard to find so you would be ok to drop the trans fluid that is in there and get some dextron III. I don't believe that you would want to do a change over from Type A to 10w-30 because you need to do a complete flush and get everybit of trans fluid removed. You need to check the dipstick and see what kind of trans fluid was used. It possibly could have already changed over and has the 10w-30 in it. Good luck
