jimbotelho 1 #1 Posted June 4, 2010 Guys, I would like to purchase a new oil filter for my 417a tractor on my way home today .Any idea what the number would be? I could stop by a napa store it is a kohler engine
bmuone 15 #2 Posted June 4, 2010 I have a 1986 417A. On my cheat sheet I show Toro filter 79-5270 which replaced number 1083350. Not sure how that relates to Napa but just make sure they know it is a transmission filter.
jimbotelho 1 #3 Posted June 4, 2010 thanks but it is a motor filter that I need unless you are telling me they are the same
bmuone 15 #4 Posted June 4, 2010 Jim my 417a does not have a oil filter on the engine. Yours must be different motor.
