Temp place the hood decals and find the center and mark the decal and the hood so you put it where you want it. Same with the others.

Good idea. I'm a ways off of putting my vinylguy decals on the 1077, but I had the same question as kpthorsefan had on tips for placing the decals accurately. Thanks

There are also a lot of good instructional videos on You Tube.

Just do a search for "vinyl decal application". (or installation)

Cool - thanks. Just watched a few. Never knew you could apply them wet with water and a drop of dish soap sprayed out of a spray bottle.

I've installed decals that way for the last twenty years. It sure makes the final repositioning a breeze. Just squeegee out the excess water/soap mix when your done.

Nice job!!! :wh:

Its funny you should say that because when putting them on i did notice that on the right hand hood decal the wheelhorse logo was facing the other way round to the one i had taken off, even on my c121 its the same. :D Has anybody else noticed it, just curious.

That is a real nice looking horse there. Your decals look great.

I'm kinda old school when it comes to decals. I always use water and dish soap, and it works everytime. I have ruined far less decals since embracing this procedure many years ago.
