hydro tranny

while running tractor, fwd. movement stopped and will not move under own power. am able to push tractor freely without opening tow valve. anyone know what is wrong and how to adjust it?

How is the tranny fluid level? Could the tranny filter be plugged, those are designed not to have a by-pass valve in them to prevent hydro damage if filter becomes clogged. hope this helps.

Did you happen to check the axle to wheel hub woodruff keys?

yes thanks rickv1957 I did check the woodruf keys, they are ok

and I did check for fluid level, did not think about the filter. will check it out.

Hydro press seems to be good as it raises the mower deck quite vigerously.

Try to adjust the friction on the directional control lever.
