big mike 13 #26 Posted July 4, 2010 A broken steering box isn't all that unusual.In it's life someone ran a front wheel into a immoveable object(tree or cement curb)and that shock goes directly to the gear box.I have one in service that was split length wise,welded up and broken and welded again.
