Kelly 1,029 #1 Posted March 18, 2008 I learned something again the other day, after TT said they still use both style blocks, one being square mount to the pan the other having ears to mount to the pan, I went out and started looking at my tractors alittle closer, the style that mounts soild to the frame has the ears, the shaker style mounted engines all have the square pattern,(I'm talking about 10hp and up) I'm glad I now know this as I was planning on swaping pans to mount a engine on my FEL tractor using the soild mount pan but the block (16hp) is set up for a shaker pan, no big deal, I have the stuff to do both, but I thought I would share this info with all of you, so no one has a supprise, going to swap motors.
combatmp29r 27 #2 Posted March 18, 2008 Thanks Kelly. I don't deal with the horizontals much, so it would be a mistake I would have made.
