Engine Swap

:D I have a wheel horse A-80E that had a tecumseh V80 in it. I want to replace it with an 8 HP briggs (the motor I got is the same as what was in the A-90 and A-100's). The only problem is the mounts are different. The briggs has blind bosses that are above the mounting holes in my A-80. I could tap them and thread them for a bolt or I could try to get the front frame section from an A-90/A-100 since they have different bolt patterns (as per diagram on parts tree). Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem before? :USA:
