Lawn Ranger seat upholstery

Recommended Posts

fomocoguy

I need to re-upholster the seat for my 66 Lawn Ranger and wanted to know what my options are. I've got a good pan, but that's about it. Does anybody make reproduction seat covers and foam for these? If not, do you guys usually just have an upholstery shop do it? Thanks for any ideas! I may just go find a generic seat, but it would be neat to have the factory look with the white insert....

Take a good picture of an original seat. Give him the picture and the seat pan, and they should reproduce one close to original. I think some other guys on here have done that with good results.

I paid 65 bucks about 3 years ago....if you don't find a source, Larry in MO has a source for them (somewhere in Missouri)....they look good and are reasonably priced....do you have any Amish tradesmen in your neck of the woods???

Nope, no Amish tradesmen that I'm aware of. Honestly, there may be some but I wouldn't even know where to look for them. $65 isn't bad; I'd definetly be willing to fork that out on a nice seat rehab. Is "Larry" the fella's id on here? Thanks!

I found a local shop that says he'll do it for $75. I'll be dropping it off this week, and I"ll be sure to post some pics! :D
