Shuboxlover 479 #1 Posted April 30, 2010 Sooo, long story short, the closest Onan dealer is 50 miles away. It just so happens that a guy I work with lives in that town, so I had his wife pick up the air filter and prefilter, and he brought it to work for me. I called the place and gave them my engine number PG220 blah blah blah, but the one they gave me is half the size of the one that's in there now. The new one is about 2" thick and the old one is about 4" thick.... Which is the correct one? :D
TT-(Moderator) 1,147 #2 Posted April 30, 2010 Didn't we already do this? http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=17623 The HC was a commercial machine and was built with some bigger and better parts.
Shuboxlover 479 #3 Posted April 30, 2010 I thought I had all my bases covered too TT, but i gave those numbers to the guy over the phone and he kinda made me feel stupid, like i didn't know what I was talking about. He then told me that I needed numbers 140-2628-01 and 140-1896-01, so the wife of the guy I work with went to pick up those part numbers and the guy at the counter said the 1896 number was no good, and "got" the correct one. While the diameter is correct, the height is no where even close. I gave him the entire part number of my engine.....P220G-I/10541B :USA:
TT-(Moderator) 1,147 #4 Posted April 30, 2010 82-0660 (filter element) and 82-0670 (pre-filter) are Toro numbers, not Onan numbers. Edit: this should be the list of "crossover" numbers for the filter element. AC Delco - A679C Baldwin - PA2069 Car Quest - 88094 (Wix) Fram - CA140 Hastings - AF56 NAPA Gold - 6094 (Wix) Purolator - A12283 Wix - 46094
