Great picture, and thanks for sharing! :D

If we could get more youngsters to spend time on Horses and less on Nintendo or whatever the latest gadget is, what a wonderful world it would be!

Thanks everybody for the replies!!!!! Cody was a little nervous tilling

for his first time. I showed him 1 time how to do it and now he wants

to do all the tilling :omg: This fall he wants to learn how to plow

so he'll be a little busy in the gardens plus all the plow days. This goes

to show him that there's more to life than his video games!!

Thanks again Indy

I'm curious about mounting a similar tiller to an 857. It's basically the same machine as the 854, with updated sheet metal.

:D Indy.

A little more detail on the "modified spring tensioner" could come in handy. I just might do some experimenting.

Jim if you use the standard 9-1/2 pulley on the gearbox you really

don't get a real fast tine speed. I've went down to a 6-1/2 pulley but

it's rained here for three days so I can't get in the garden to give

it a good workout.

Is that the right tiller for that tractor or shouyld it be a pull type. i need to know if that style will fit a commando 8.

Pullstart

this is a pretty old topic, but I'm looking to buy a tiller to equip my tractor or buy another just for tilling.  I've got an 8 hp K181T repowered 502, virtually the same power to ground setup as this.  it's pretty a crafty setup here, the front PTO looks like it came from a mower deck then just a plow frame to mount it in the rear?

Pullstart

tilled a bit with my setup like this today!  I have more fine tuning to do, then I'll get some pictures of my machine.
