Duff 206 #4 Posted April 26, 2010 Congratulations! In oxen and horses, we'd call that a full pull plus. Does the same apply in tractors? Duff :omg:

KeithB 6 #6 Posted April 26, 2010 Congratulations! In oxen and horses, we'd call that a full pull plus. Does the same apply in tractors? Duff Thanks I think for us a full pull is 200 feet, i was way past that, i was to the end of the track to the grass and no more traction if your wondering why the 18 horse has no weights, i only have one set and have to switch them back and forth 3 or 4 times :D

jpmcleod 4 #10 Posted April 26, 2010 I love it. Good looking tractors. As I posted recently, I watch a young girl on a Wheel Horse go all the way to the end with a belt drive. By the way, how do hydro's do in pulling? Can they hold up o the strain?

KeithB 6 #13 Posted April 26, 2010 By the way, how do hydro's do in pulling? Can they hold up o the strain? hydro's are not used, to much power loss for stock classes. There is V8 car motor hydro class, the pumps take it pretty good, but they do blow the pumps fairly often.
