v65animal 0 #1 Posted April 24, 2010 Ok, my fault, some how when I was pushing it, I went to step on the brake and pushed it the wrong direction. Now the brake still works, but at rest the pedal is at 10 or 11 o'clock if you are looking at it from the side, instead of high Noon if you get what I mean. http://picasaweb.google.com/sam.woodson/Wh...529291002966386 I tried adjusting the linkage on the brake behind the rear wheel, didn't seem to help. However it did fix the original problem of the parking brake not engaging. Note my finger pointing to the linkage. In the photo, the brake was pressed all the way down with the parking brake holding it. http://picasaweb.google.com/sam.woodson/Wh...529299138362818 Any suggestions to get my brake pedal back at high Noon? Thanks in advance! Sam
rmaynard 15,425 #2 Posted April 24, 2010 The only thing that stops the brake pedal from coming back toward you is the foot rest. Looks like your foot rest is bent down allowing the pedal to travel too far back. Bob
Shuboxlover 478 #3 Posted April 24, 2010 In the first pic. you show the brake pedal, but in the second pic I believe you are pointing to the clutch linkage. Does your brake still work, or does nothing happen when you press the pedal on the right side of your tractor?
v65animal 0 #4 Posted April 24, 2010 Thanks Bob! That's it, the floor board is bent down at the corner. I'll fix it when I take it off to sand/paint it. Yes, the brake still works! Thanks again! Sam
