tmix 34 #1 Posted April 23, 2010 New to this site not sure if this is the place to ask the question But here it goes -My Buddy gave me a 1965 875 2 weeks ago Runs like a dram has a blade pushes gravel great! But he threw Moter deck away -Picked up a Raider 12 think its a 1971 has mower deck and mower bought it for $60.00 the catch is it smokes like a chimmeny !!! It has a electic clutch on it I would like to take the deck from the Raider and use on the 875 Is this Possible ?? If anyone has pics of the 875 with the deck on it I need to see the pulleys from the the deck up to the motor Maybe I can fab something to make it work. I know I can't take the electric clutch off the Raider because the shaft on the 875 is not threaded on the crank. I am LOST PLEASE HELP. Pics would be GREAT !!!! Raider12 13 #5 Posted April 23, 2010 :omg: I pretty sure the deck off the Raider is not going to work, at least not without some mods any way. There are some decks around for sale to fit your 875. qd-16 14 #7 Posted April 23, 2010 Hi, your 875 is a short frame model, and your raider is a long frame model. The decks will not interchange. The short frames used the "gear driven" rear discharge decks in 32 or 36 inch widths, this is completely different than the deck that is on your raider. I don't know if its possible to adapt your raider deck to fit the 875, but its not a direct swap. Post an ad in the "wanted" section of the classifieds and maybe someone close to you might have one for sale. Good luck, Al.
