Two Pedals

[scifi4all 6]

I have a 73 12hp and it has the single pedal on the left for clutch/brake. On the later models there is a pedal on each side. What is each for?

I have never seen one in person and I am going to go look at one with both. The ad does not list what year it is and I forgot to ask.

Sorry if this seems a simple question. But, I would rather ask than assume.

I am pretty sure, based on the hood stickers, that it is not any newer than a 1977. What was the reason for the change? If you hit the brake does the clutch pedal depress also?

They have seperate duty,one for clutch and the other for brake,Rick
