Greg B. 1 #1 Posted March 15, 2008 Hey Gang, Got a couple of questions about the ol' hoss. 1. I've got the 1980 C-165 Auto with the 42" SD deck (model # 5-1011-42"). What I need is the part number for the proper drive belt. PO used a automotive type belt and it finally died a messy death. 2. How tight is tight, on the mule drive? Thanks, Greg B. TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #2 Posted March 15, 2008 My book shows a P/N 102742 belt @ 103 1/4" X 1/2". I usually tighten mine so I can twist the top "run" of belt from the PTO pulley to the tensioner about 1/4 to 1/2 way around. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
