Hello,

The Big Show is just around the corner and I was just wondering what the raffle tractor is this year. It would be great to see some pics.

I think a 312-8 would be neat or a roundhood! Something collectable. If you think about it, a more desirable tractor will bring in more money from tickets, paying the owner for the tractor and giving the club some money.

For example,

All original 1045, with an attachment, complete, rust free. Owner would like $1000 for it, Tickets are 6 for $5, sold 2400 tickets. Money brought in = $2000. Owner gets $1000 and club gets $1000. That would be a good raffle.

I'm sure a tractor that is quite desirable would bring in quite a bit of ticket sales.

Now realize that the club wouldn't get all $1000. They would need to pay for the smaller raffle items. I'm pretty sure that most bigger items are sold to the club not donated but donations are always welcome for the raffle.

Correct me if I'm wrong in anything I said...

Charile the raffle tractor doesnt pay for the small drawings

if you went last year you could have seen that the money collected for the raffle is in its own jar so it not connected to the rest of the raffle idems

the small idems are donated to the club by people like me and other members

I can re-size it, but it won't be readable. Do you have the original? How big is it?

I'll bring ramps this year and just drive that sucker up into the bed. I think that was the problem last year. I didn't take winning the tractor that serious. Should I bring some fresh gas?
