:omg:

Thanks for joining in the discussion of paint. I have found that the Toro paint is nowhere near the original color of my B-100 or C-120.

I too am restoring a B-100 (1977), and color has been my biggest problem. I finally have matched the color that I have on a NOS (new old stock) shift plate to three different paints:

NAPA/Martin Senour IH Red #4115

PPG Code: 3794 variant B

Kirker UA-51429 (Flame Red, GM #81).

All three have been recommended in an acrylic urethane. The Kirker paint is the least expensive at $82 for a kit that includes 3/4 gallon of paint, and 1 qt. of activator.

The subject of Wheel Horse Red paint color has been a much talked about subject, and the general consensus is that whatever pleases you is the right color. :omg:

Once again, Apple red is for old TORO products, made before they bought Wheel Horse. The closest Toro can come to Wheel Horse red is NEW TORO RED.

I have a plow from a new 520 on my 312. I touched it up between seasons and the new toro red was the exact color.
