T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,505 #2 Posted April 17, 2010 Mike, Nice looking collection of Cub Cadets. I particularly like the 127 and 1862. But I gotta say you need a gear drive! I say a 70 or 100. As you may know I have a few Cubs myself. Here's some of mine: 125 104 2135 The same 2135 plus another one: 122 Another 104 123 Another 123 I also have a 107 in pieces. T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,505 #7 Posted April 21, 2010 A red cub? looks great!,Rick That one was not red originally, but was painted and restored red. But IH did make start making red Cub Cadets in 1980, a year before they sold the line to MTD. Then from 1981 to 1985 the Cub Cadet Corporation (CCC), that was formed by MTD after they bought the line, made both red Cub Cadets that were sold by IH dealers and yellow and white Cub Cadets that were sold by CCC dealers. I, for one, would like to have an IH built red 82 series, most notably a 682 or 782.
