Don1977 604 #4 Posted April 16, 2010 As said in the other thread, " We will end up paying more for parts". Only the lawyers will make a pile of money out of this. I have my dads old Snapper and I got his card but I will not apply.
bmuone 15 #5 Posted April 16, 2010 I was wondering if you sign up for this, will you have to check the "I have sued" block on job applications, jury duty, loans, etc etc?
Duff 206 #6 Posted April 16, 2010 I was wondering if you sign up for this, will you have to check the "I have sued" block on job applications, jury duty, loans, etc etc? No, you won't. Being a member of a class action lawsuit, unless you were one of the principals who brought the suit forward in the first place, does not require that you declare having sued someone. Applications that ask that question are generally looking for someone who is "suit happy", or, in the case of jury duty, someone who might be predisposed toward the plaintiff rather than being impartial. Any attorneys among us, please feel free to correct me. Duff :omg:

Matt, No big deal......just thought you would want to see some of the other posts as well. It surely has caused quite a stir on most forums. It will be interesting to see how things go forward after the dust has settled.
KC9KAS 4,741 #8 Posted April 16, 2010 I got a card in the mail. We did buy a new CRAFTSMAN push mower a few years ago. Interesting, the note I got in the mail came on 4/10/10, and said "any product purchased between .....and April 12, 2010, so I had two days to go out and buy another one!
