Okay, here are some pictures of the "free" 753. From the pictures, it doesn't look to be in too bad of a shape.

Now, just to convince the wife it's worth a trip down to Arkansas (about a 12-13 hour round trip).

That doesn't look bad at all. So for a couple hundred bucks in fuel and food, you'll have a nice old machine!

Keep us posted......

That looks nicer than some of those eBay machines I've been seeing lately. Nice find!

Thanks, guys. Other than some rust, mainly on the fenders, and one tire off the rim, and the unoriginal seat, it looks to be in good shape and complete. My main obstacle is convincing, not only the wife, but myself that I want to drive approximately 350 miles one way to pick it up. I know it's worth it, but with the C-141 needing attention, I don't know for sure if I can tackle another project. Still, I would definitely like to have it. I guess I just need to convince the wife we need a trip south.

I think I will be doing "honey-dos" now until forever if she says yes. But I think she is weakening, at first she said "No way!!" Then last night she asked "Does it run?" That means she is more receptive.

Well I called the guy today and he will hold on to it until I can find the time to go get it. He even offer me a square fender JD 112 for parts if I need any - which I don't think I do, as of now. But who knows when if I will when I get there. :D
