papaglide 542 #1 Posted April 14, 2010 Well, I pulled the trigger and bought a what I think is a GT 14. This was the one that is in the picture I posted under "what model is this?" Model number stamped is 1-7411 (I assume its a typo and is 7441) serial is 564250 which doesn't exist on the Toro site. I have never really seen a tractor quite like this. It seems to be more sturdier and heavier built than any of my cubs including my 1882 super. The ground clearance is 10.5 inches front axle, middle, and rear axle. The 3 point hitch measures out to be a cat 1 NOT 0. This seems to be a pretty heavy duty SCUT. The engine is a K301, 12 hp. It is a hydro with hydraulic lift. It is missing the air cleaner assembly, the lights aren't currently wired up and the battery sits out front on a platform - which I will move to its proper position under the hood. Faded paint but no surface rust! I can't wait to clean her up and start some TLC. I will post pics later.
fireman 1,021 #2 Posted April 14, 2010 Nice find on the GT-14. Here is the link to find out info on your tractor: https://www.shoptoro.com/Comergent/en/US/ad...&isManuals=true When there, type in 1-7441 for the part number. Leave the serial number blank. Has the info on your tractor

papaglide 542 #10 Posted April 15, 2010 Well here are the pics. She's a little(?) beat but.... I don't believe that the 3 point was original to the tractor. The pin holes in the lower links are 1" dia. The holes in my cat 0 on my cub are 5/8" dia. The link arms are straight and don't have the outward bend in them like my cub cat 0. Upon closer examination the PTO switch is missing meaning I don't even know where it would have been. There is no hole for it in the dash. Lot to learn with this tractor. How do I upload pics? Don1977 604 #11 Posted April 15, 2010 A cat 1 should be 7/8" on the lift arms.
