tgranthamfd 29 #26 Posted April 20, 2010 No problem TopHat, this portion of the electrical is new to me, as well, maybe someone can help you out. Just wondering, though, after changing the stator out it is running like it needs the carb cleaned, keep in mind I did all the head and tail light wiring while also doing the stator. We checked the points and they needed adjusted, it ran fine before the charging issues. :omg:
Save Old Iron 1,566 #27 Posted April 20, 2010 If the connectons are cruddy would it cause th single post on the bottom to get hot and melt the plastic on the solderless terminal?
tgranthamfd 29 #28 Posted April 20, 2010 15 x 15 x .1 = 22 watts of power - almost the same as laying a 30 watt soldering iron the connector !! Wow that is crazy. Hey iron, I just put a sight suggestion just for you. We'll see if anything comes of it.
