Hammerhead 817 #1 Posted April 8, 2010 Here's my first haul of the year! I didn't have to go far, the old timer across the corn field wanted to sell me all his old mower stuff. Some red and some yellow. I got his 1999 WH Model 314-8 Classic with a 14 hp Kohler with a bad cam, the original 42 inch mower deck in good condition and a newer 48 inch mower deck that is in mint condition. He said he paid over $900 for the 48 incher a few years ago! Plus this nice Cub Cadet Model 106 with a newer 12 hp Kohler engine that he paid $968.00 for! It cranks over good but the carb is in need of a rebuild. I sprayed gas in the carb and it fired up with no smoke! :thumbs:I spent the day cleaning everything but the WH tractor and it all looks good! I'll clean the tractor up soon, it is very clean under the oiley dirt! So I got all this for $175.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gotta love it, good first haul! Hammerhead 817 #13 Posted April 9, 2010 Thanks alot guys! I do have good luck when it comes to garden tractors and scarfing anything old! That is my A90 Special on the trailer, yeh you busted me. I had to pull the dead Cubby out of the old farmers barn. That was fun too, he had some old Tonka trucks laying around and old farm tractor toys laying in the dirt! I should have asked how much he'd take for 'em, but I was on a tight budget! Beside's, I figured I had better get out of there quick before he thought too much about it!
