TheUnknownCat 0 #1 Posted April 8, 2010 The C160 has finished tilling and formed the rows, now it's just picking up the rocks we kicked out of the ground, to make room to mow. It's really a great machine. This is one of my three gardens. This was new ground. The little tractor tilled it, ran a big springtooth through it, and then formed the rows with a home made bed former. I'll post pics of my implements as soon as I have time to take some. Here are my other two gardens, I broke these with a Troy-Bilt Horse -which is now for sale. Thanks for all of your help Guys!

TheUnknownCat 0 #14 Posted April 8, 2010 My tiller is just fine, once ya get to sit down to till, ya do take care of that tiller! Anyway -implements, as promised! Sorry that my pics got all weird! These are all just hacked up junk, but I've only owned the tractor a few weeks, and had to get it straightened up enough to get through the season, and then I had to get tools together too. They'll get overhauled with the tractor, when things slow down. My springtooth. It was a five-footer with a three point set-up on it, I cut it down to three and made my own Wheel Horse hitch. My tool bar: One of the attaching brackets for the toolbar: This is how I attach at my cable end, a stainless steel shackle. (I know, it's lookin' pretty wet on my transaxle, but I have to get this work done. I took a shot at fixing it, it went well enough to break my hub, so it's on a steady diet of 30wt until I get another chance.) For my springtooth and my toolbar, I attach this to the shackle, a notched bar. It allows me a lot of adjustment for depth. The toolbar and springtooth have a piece of angle iron welded across them which the notched bar fits to, like this: This is one of my home made discs, cut from the ends of a propane tank: Here's the bedding plow, this thing works like a dream: And finally, someone mentioned my hydraulic handle, also made from junk, so I thought I'd include it. It sure makes it easier to control when you have something to get ahold of!

TheUnknownCat 0 #22 Posted April 9, 2010 Thanks for all of the kind words and well-wishing Guys -you're a great bunch! (Especially the ones from Oklahoma. ) I still have a long way to go this Spring, but the C160 is pretty much done, except for mowing, (42" SD) and raking the grass, (I'll post a pic of the toolbar rake that I'm making, when it's done.) I've got a vintage Troy-Bilt Pony that I cultivate my rows with. In the meantime, I gotta finish the chicken coop, I want fresh eggs with all of this fresh food! Have a great growing season! Other than you we have a couple from the Del City area, 1 from Blanchard, 1 from Glenwood or maybe Glenpool, and myself from Marlow. Maybe more that I don't know about on here. Once again Good job. :omg:
