1967 Tecumseh Carb Question...

So I'm thinking I will just buy a new carb for the 6hp Tecumseh H60 that is in my newly aquired 1967 607. I see lots of replacement carbs on ebay, but they all seem to have a different part number. Can anyone tell me the correct tecumseh carb part number for this engine? Thanks....Jon H.

Jon I bought a rebuild kit for a couple H60 I have. If the carb is in good shape the kit is around $12 to $15 dollars and it worked good for me. Just thought I'd put that out there.

I fully agree with rebuilding the carb before buying a new one, and i can tell you this the new carburetor will be an emmisions carb that sounds like crap!!!

I belive your carb rebuild kit part # is 31840 ........good luck..... :omg:
