just picked up this 1957 pond rj35 on monday 3/30/10(well it was brought by my work) and i couldent pass on it :omg:

i do need some parts- carburator(clinton B-1200) and breather, belt guard, rear lift cable, handle grip, better steering wheel, etc.

anyway here are the pics of it, came with a deck in pieces(was going to restore)

i will be taking the bracket under seat spring off! hood has some dings and 2 cracks at gas cap.

Great find Greg!

That actually is a late 1956 since it has the black wheels. Reason: black wheels, red seat. Exactly like the 1957 but different colors.

I think I can help you out on a carb, breather and handle grip. I will include the carb link with the carburetor. Send me an email at clintonnut_85@hotmail.com

Thanks

Charlie

Those pieces couldn't have been repainted in the last 53 years?

Here's a 1957 RJ-35 and it has black wheels and a red seat:

Greg, CONGRATS!!! Looks like a EXCELLENT RJ to start with! :omg:

I agree with TT. Anything's possible with these machines. If only they could talk... The stories that could be told by these tractors would be AMAZING.

BTW, I have a 502 that came here with red wheels... I took them off, dismounted the tires and the wheels were originally yellow. You never know what's hiding under the paint. JB
