Sparky-(Admin) 21,300 #2 Posted March 28, 2010 Thw "Work Horse" series were built arond 1983-84 and had Briggs motors and a gray-ish paint scheme. There was the GT-1100, GT-1142, GT-1600, and the GT1848. The CG-8 is a verticle shaft tractor I think from the early 70's. Thats all I got for ya . Mike.......... rusted and busted 0 #10 Posted March 29, 2010 thanks guys wont be going back till this weekend, none of these mowers have engins on them,so how hard is it going to be to find motors?ive got a local guy who has a bunch of horses out to paasture, literaly, sitting in a field going to pot...says all motors are junk,so whats the odds of every one of these kolers being bad,i thought they were a tuff motor???on a side note the p.o i just bought mine off has a bunch of david bradlys and attachtments for sale if any body is into those
