Ken B 3,164 #1 Posted March 28, 2010 I picked up this sweet little RJ 58 from Square members Grnlark (Matt) today. It was a pleasure meeting him and his brother VinsRJ. (Vince) A couple of real cool dudes. I got the RJ home, checked out the rear diff fluid, nice and clean, and full. I added a K91 and away I went. Nice quiet diff. and everything works nice. Thanks Matt!

stevebo-(Moderator) 8,330 #14 Posted March 31, 2010 VIN... WAS THAT A DIG?? I KNOW YOU WILL HAVE IT RESTORED FOR THE SHOW :omg:
VinsRJ 721 #15 Posted March 31, 2010 VIN... WAS THAT A DIG?? I KNOW YOU WILL HAVE IT RESTORED FOR THE SHOW No dig my friend, but I did question myself why I bought it for a few minutes though. After I went over it things really began to come to light. I already had plans for the rear rims. The 5-12 rims (which were off a Beaver tractor) are ready for the e-tank and slated for my 60 Suburban Gasser Project I almost finished straightening the hood out and repaired the tank strap, the hood wasn't as bad as it looked. The tranny went "in stock" and may get parted or repaired. If the non date code center section is good it may end up as part of my Suburban project. I got the steering wheel straight and placed it "in stock", as well as the seat spring. As always good deal :D
Ken B 3,164 #16 Posted March 31, 2010 I wouldn't mind seein some pics of that fixed up hood Vin.
