rydogg 186 #1 Posted March 27, 2010 I just purchased this 1055 from a friend that collects Wheel Horse its been sitting in his barn for the last couple of years its a little dirty so I will need to clean it up yet and put a carb kit in it. He claimed that this came from a dealer that would get one fully decked out tractor so people could see first hand what the options looked like on the tractor so this has the hydraulic lift, headlight kit, cigarette lighter, and rear quicktach for a snowplow but I wasn't able to get him to part with the snowplow yet, I'm not sure about the chrome belt cover if that was an option or if they all had them I guess I've only seen one other 1055 and that is in the gallery section it also has the original Wheel Horse logo front tires on it. I also picked up a bunch of 753 parts for my future restoration of the 653 I got from him a couple months ago I kind of needed a good hood since mine was separated a little from the front section. Anyways here's some pictures enjoy!

Kelly 1,029 #11 Posted March 27, 2010 Nice 1055, I love all the add ons heck they are worth more than the tractor, I have a 1055 that had the hyd lift and headlights, but had no belt guard, by the way the hood decals are wrong those are for a 67 tractor and in the empty space on the decal would be the model no. VinsRJ 721 #15 Posted March 28, 2010 Anyone have any insight on the chrome belt guard? Is that a part or after market ad-on? Nice Score :omg:
Kelly 1,029 #16 Posted March 28, 2010 as for the chrome belt cover I've seen one on another tractor, it was a wheel horse but can't remember what model?? as for being after market I don't think so that belt guard only fits the 1045, 1055, and 1075 and never used on another WH, it may have been chromed just for that tractor.
