MaineDad 85 #1 Posted March 26, 2010 Guys, On my 71 Bronco 14, it has the T-shaped tow valve on top. I am assuming that it turn clockwise to close the valve and CC to open the valve. The decal said to only turn a 1/2 turn to open. My question is this tow valve supposed to bottom out turning it in? I turned it several turns and it does not seem to bottom out at all. pfrederi 17,646 #2 Posted March 26, 2010 You turn 1/2 turn. It will never "bottom" I put tape on my Charger 12 so I can tell if it engaged or in tow mode. There should be a roll pin through the shaft on mine it points fore and aft. Rotate 180 degrees and you are in the other mode. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
