The Cherokee is loaded up with two rear axles ready for paint, the hood, seat pans, and a bunch of other parts so I can pull an all nighter at the shop where I work tomm night. It will be too noisy painting in my garage at night. Besides, there is much more space at work. I got a six pack of Red Bull chillin in the fridge at work, I'm good to go. :omg:

Lots of stuff got painted tonight. I just got home and I'm kinda tired, gotta go back and do some more at 7am tomm. Everything came out fairly well. Just a little dust on the hood, I'll wait a month and then wet sand with 1500 and buff.

As you know I'm restoring two RJ's at the same time. This is RJ # 2. I know there was a discussion about some guys coming across yellow Wheel Horse's. Add this RJ to the list. If one of the previous owners of this RJ painted it yellow then he stripped the paint down to nothing and dipped this tractor in yellow. It's even yellow on the bottom of the frame and other places most people wouldn't go thru the trouble of getting to.

Moving right along....Here she was a few short months ago.

Here she is now... Not quite done, I still have to wet sand and buff the hood, tire black the tires, paint one front rim. (I was going to have silver front rims but decided against it.) I also need to paint and install the top heat shield over the head fins. Almost time for a ride eh!

She's a beaut!

I like your own touch on the black wheels. Didn't take you long! We can do one in 2 months.

Nice meeting you at Steve's.

:omg: Ken,

I agree with Duff. The silver on the front will make it look too much like a 55... When I saw you at at Tractor Supply yesterday afternoon you looked a bit tired...
