clintonnut 126 #1 Posted March 17, 2010 Eldon here's what you missed! Here is our latest find! It's a 1951 Model C Choremaster with a D1100 motor. It is rare, relative to the much more common Model B and it has the extremely rare auxiliary weight - the big brown piece right behind the engine. Tractor was stored indoors all its life and has very nice original paint. Also has the dogbone ag tire! $40! If you look at the pulley (blurred) you can tell it's running, and if you look at the green motor housing in the front you can see the pelting rain from the nor'easter we're currently enduring! We now have 4 of these blasted machines...$40 is the most we've ever paid for one! I got it running an hour after we got it home. Fired 1st pull started 3rd! Roger from southern Iowa 1 #3 Posted March 18, 2010 Charlie, you just reminded me, I have couple of those. One has the Clinton, I'm told the Clinton powered ones were first then Briggs power after that. I also have a Briggs version and a few attachments for them. They are a ball to operate. for reminding me.

rydogg 186 #8 Posted March 29, 2010 Charlie, just wondering if they made a planter for one of these, I recently saw a small completely cast iron pull behind planter that was pretty small only about 12" tall and the choremaster was what I figured it might fit on. Any idea? I will try to get a picture sometime it was quite unique. Ryan
clintonnut 126 #9 Posted March 29, 2010 I think they did and would be interested in it if it was indeed choremaster. Charlie
