Kelly 1,029 #28 Posted March 20, 2010 There is another member here Perry he just picked up a bunch of parts from a 701 and it was yellow under the red paint but he also said it was red under that, but someonet ook the tractor completly apart to paint it yellow it had yellow paint betwwen parts that should have not been painted at all, as it would have been painted after it was put together at the factory. 6wheeler 603 #29 Posted March 20, 2010 Well guys, that wouldn't surprise me. As far as paint goes, they might have been yellow for some order they had for possible sales. My Bobcat (), I know, was ordered dark Purple. The company I work for bought 6 of them in 1978, and would take 2 more each year if Clark would paint them that color.
