TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #2 Posted March 8, 2008 What's on yours now, Ben? It should have an oval tag riveted to the generator case. That will tell you the model number. It's the same S/G as the 1045, 1055, 1056, etc.

TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #4 Posted March 9, 2008 Do you need the Delco - Remy numbers, Ben? I can get them off my 1056 if you just want to know what it is or need to order parts. The Kohler P/N is B-275703, but -- as you probably already know -- it's no longer available.

TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #9 Posted March 9, 2008 Terry, I looked at ID plate on the Generator's Case it's a DELCO - REMY . Ben Were you just trying to find out who made it, (they're all Delco - Remy) or do you need to work on it too? Older automobile starter/alternator repair shops can get parts and/or repair these units.
