Brake drum shaft seal?

Well, I am restoring my 1979 C-141 8-Speed and the drum and that area of the tranny is pretty wet. Guessing it is the seal. I know I saw someone post about this before but couldn't find it. I assume this seal is done by splitting the cases?

That is the hard way. If the tranny is in good shape just remove the brake drum and pick the seal out.

OK...I have done the axle seals but never messed with any others. I RARELY have to do any maintenance on my C-Series! B)
