Has a Renault cyl 800cc engine.

Wh1257-yes it is the same as the Gutbrods exactly like the Gutbrod 2500.

Nice story and nice tractor!! Is that a 48 inch snowblower? I have a 48 inch snowblower model# 76-48sx01-9506, it looks like yours but the chute rotator asm. is on the other side.

The snowblower that is on it is off a Cub 982. I have to move the rotator arm assembly to the other side yet.

You can buy the Firestone 16x6.50 tires and people say that they are too small for D series but I met with M.E. miller and I held them side by side with my 18x8.50 tires and the firestones are just as tall. I think the 8.50s are too wide as there is quite a bit of sidewall concave on d series rims. The 16x6.50s are measured from the bottom of the tread. The rib is nearly an inch tall! They will look good on wider rims. If you look at dukes tires, his rims were a little too narrow and made the tires really skinny and rounded. On D series rims they will be just right.

You can also get Vredstone 18x8.50 5 rib tires that look pretty good too.
