TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #27 Posted March 3, 2010 Whats this deck off of Terry?? It's a 1977 deck for the C series tractors, but I use it on a 1990 416H most of the time. It was last used on a 1979 C-161 twin just before I bought it.
Don1977 604 #28 Posted March 3, 2010 That base looks right to me. I just checked mine the front upright brackets are 13 3/4" out side to out side. the rear with the hinge is 14" out side to out side. Check out this thread, I think you didn't have the slot on the bar when you attach the Tack-a-matic hitch. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...topic=16192&hl=
c1651980 0 #29 Posted March 3, 2010 Thanks Don, although I think I had the rod correct, I'm not so sure that I have ever paid a whole lot of attention to whether or not the fork on the front rod was in the right position! I have the 13 3/4 on the front but the rear is almost 15. I know that rear is supposed to be 14, I really want to move that in, but I question whether or not the entire assembly needs moved over to the left a little before I go for the 14 inch width. Thats why I am looking for an idea of where this thing is supposed to be centered up. If I pick a few random points on this assembly and measure to say a wheel bracket or a pulley, it keeps appearing that the assembly is 3/4 of an inch more to the right. Anyways Thanks A Lot, I will check the fork!!
