squonk 41,017 #1 Posted March 2, 2010 I thought this would be kind of neat to post a picture of my on our 64 604 around 1968. We finally sold it with the house in 76. It was on it's 4th 6 H.P. Techy by then.
BPjunk 184 #2 Posted March 2, 2010 It was on it's 4th 6 H.P. Techy by then. Neat Picture. The aluminum block Tecumsehs had the power but did have a tendancy to not last as long. It is why the old Tecumseh powered Wheel Horses are hard to find with the original engine. Wild Bill

TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #6 Posted March 2, 2010 Your picture is pretty great too, Mike. Only around 4 years old and already needed an engine, huh? You guys must have been hard on that thing! B)

squonk 41,017 #8 Posted March 2, 2010 Your picture is pretty great too, Mike. Only around 4 years old and already needed an engine, huh? You guys must have been hard on that thing! We had about 1 acre to mow. 2 huge driveways and about 500' of sidewalks to plow. Plus I can still see my dad plowing the neighborhood garden with the front wheels in the air.
