wheelman125 0 #1 Posted February 26, 2010 Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and a new Wheel horse owner based in the UK. I have just stripped my 1980 C 125 model down to brass tacks. I am trying to source parts for it and have hit a problem with the front wheel bearings. The ones fitted are a non precision, pressed steel item and i can't find anything like them at my bearing supplier. Does anyone have a part number/supplier for new bearings if they are still available. If I can't get hold of something like them then i will look at making up some modified bearings or actually making a pair of front hubs and modifying the front wheels by machining out the centres. rmaynard 15,425 #7 Posted February 26, 2010 B) Hello. Unless things are different over in the UK, the bearing for that model is a very common item. The original part number was 4999, but has been changed to 110513. This bearing can be found not only at Toro parts stores, but on eBay, and at our local auto parts stores that carry small tractor parts. It is common to any tractor that uses a flanged bearing with the U.S. dimensions of: ID: 0.750" OD: 1.375" Height: 0.527" If you have trouble finding them, go to Google and just search "110513 Wheel Bearing". Hope this helps you. Bob

Dresden Guy 24 #12 Posted February 26, 2010 Mick aka Wheelman125, Welcome to RedSquare.......good to have you on the forum. If you can't get an answer to your Wheel Horse questions here, it can't be found. Just a note: my favorite song on Susan Boyle CD is "WILD HORSES" - I want to think she meant Wheel Horses. wheelman125 0 #20 Posted February 27, 2010 Hi to all who welcomed me, many thanks, I will try to find a UK based supplier of the bearing using your information. The guy I usually use was left scratching his head when I showed him the bearing from my wheel horse. I will take some pictures of the Tractor as I go along, it is just staring to go back together now, the frame and gearbox have been reunited after stripping and painting.
