Dw Andy 0 #1 Posted February 18, 2010 Well I finally got the tractor inside where it"s warm. Let the oil drain (for a week!) Last night I thought I'd first replace the fan . Removed the wheel , belt guard, running board , so now I can realy get at it.... Now I can see what the prob was... the belt idler bushing is worn allowing the idler pulley to contact the oil line, wearing a hole in the line. Thats the line the hydro draws oil up from the diff. So it was just drawing air! Brazed the hole shut, replaced the filter filled with oil , steated 'er up and she moves ! Think I'll go for a JOY RIDE B)
