TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #4 Posted February 19, 2010 Adding to Rick's post for the sake of clarification: Without the model number tag on the hoodstand, this tractor is a "John Doe". I still tend to lean towards a 1966 1046, but after seeing the traces of CC yellow on the engine parts and no sign of the original Kohler/WH red paint, it's hard to say for sure. (unless you can read the specification number stamped into the engine tag) As far as you claiming it as being "all original"....... it's technically not. The only way you could legitimately make that claim is if you personally bought the tractor new. Any tractor that was ever used or worked for a sufficient amount of hours has had parts replaced, repaired, or modified in one way or another - they just might not be obvious. See if you can lightly sand the engine tag enough to allow you to read the stamped numbers. B)
