Newbiew here with my D160 Auto

Recommended Posts

Wild Wil

Hi to everyone!!! I have been on here a little while looking for info on my D160 Auto. Well I am very impressed with the info and the great things on the site. As you can see I am using ag tires and weights and still get stuck every now and then. But when you break the snow blower you gotta use what you have.... When I got the D it came with extra rear end that is all redone, all books and tickets from dealer also 2 sets of filters and a rebuilt(w/bills) for Onan too. Did not have to do one thing to it and it works great!!!!! 1500.00 was the price I think I got a good deal?

When the weather warms (not a cold weather person B) ) I am planning to do some work to the WH. I am confused on the fluid to use on the Ark loader... manual says Hyd oil and I see some same loaders use 10/30w? For now thats the only real question I have. But later on would like to find out the cross reference for Toro parts, well learn what models are = to my D. Well I hope you enjoy the pics and nice to meet you all. Sorry for the off center pics ... told you I hate the cold..

B)

My Ark loader came loaded with 10w 30 motor oil and that's what my manual states to use. I don't think it really matters which one you use but I would pull the drain plug to see what's in it now, and use the same thing.

B) Good thing you have an extra rebuilt rear end. I just finished rebuilding the one I got from a fellow rs member for my auto 18 (same as the D160) and it is NOT fun !! You will find a lot of good people and good info here. You may want to edit your signature with your location. Welcome

Hi and B) Nice D. You could put some chains on and shouldn't have any more problems. I put the 2 links on my 8.50 ags and it got around a lot better than before, with just ags and weights.
