hotrodmerc 1 #1 Posted February 15, 2010 What size woodriff key is used on the 1 1/8 axles?
MikesRJ 552 #2 Posted February 15, 2010 Depending on which key you're talking about (inside or outside the case), all transmissions used either (or both) the #9 and/or #15 Woodruff Keys. I assume your talking about the transmission on you B-80, which was either a 5080, 5084, 5091, or 103907 depending on # of gears and the year, they contained #9's inside and #15's outside. Check the transmission manual to help you identify. http://www.mywheelhorse.com/graphics/file/...ns/492-4004.pdf

TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #5 Posted February 15, 2010 A woodruff key on the inside end of a 1 1/8" axle? What book is that in? B)
MikesRJ 552 #6 Posted February 15, 2010 Don't be a Dipsheet, the inside of the axle has the snap ring ... Woodruff key on the inside of the "CASE", the ones on the brake shaft and gear. I'll give you credit though, he did say on the axle.
