Gee, you would think when a guy builds "his own" custom tractor, he would know what he wanted to call it. <_

Gee.... you'd think when a guy has over 6000 posts on this forum that he'd be able to ask a question once in a while. :D

You can call it whatever you like, Jeff. Sorry I asked. :USA:

What I really like about this tractor is that it totally looks like a factory job. Nice job Jeff. :D

Wow I can't believe all that fits under the hood. Looks awesome. What did you decide on the exhaust, will it have to go outside the hood guess it will have to, huh? Hope there are some action video's when you are finished. :D

I quickly read through this and didnt see a comment,

Are you going to install a larger hydraulic pump? was the hydraulic flow ok before?

The hydraulic pressure and flow was fine. This was an 8hp Kohler and the pump was robbing power from it. When I was driving and operating the loader at the same time you could really feel the engine bog down.

Plus I just figured what the hell! I needed another project :D Helps me keep my sanity!!!

I had the same thought as TT. Seeings it started as a C81 ! :D Doesn't take much to get a foolish comment on here anymore.

I guess I didn't understand why the comment was made, but now that you've cleared it up for me, all is right with the world. :D

Was able to sneak some time in late last night and after working on the kitchen today. Finished restoring the dash panel and got the throttle and choke cables all hooked up. Picked up some NOS knobs to replace the stock "T" ones. I have to stop by SteveBo's house on Friday morning after work and take a look at the wiring on his 520 so I can make some notes and do this right the first time.

That tractor turned out really nice Jeff. Keeping in line with the year of the tractor, you could have named it a C-201. Just kidding, the Onan looks nice in there.

Looks great, just a thought, maybe some of the puller guys have done this type of swap and could give some tips on the wiring, if you even need the help. Once again, looks awesome.

It's ALIVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Replaced all the fuel lines and filter, made all the necessary electrical connections, then crossed my fingers and turned the key. She fired up and ran rough for a minute then smoothed out and idles nice. I will post a video of it running later on tonight.

Here is the video I took of it just after I first fired it up. I cut of the muffler and just left the exhaust tubes on. I have to lengthen them then re-weld the muffler back on to clear the hood. Just finished cleaning up the wiring and putting on the belt cover and right foot board. Tomorrow the loader will go back on and then make sure all bolts are tight and check to see if I forgot anything. I think I just might actually get her finished for the show!

Click the pic for the video!
